APPEAL UPDATE: Thank you very much for your overwhelmingly generous response to our appeal which has so far raised £2121 in addition to that required for the new Monstrance! This will enable us to undertake some further improvements to the internal appearance of the Church including the return the Blessed Sacrament and Tabernacle to the centre, behind the altar.

NOVEMBER DEAD LIST: Envelopes are provided at the back of church to give names of loved ones whom you wish to be remembered at all November Masses. Include your offering in the envelope and put it in the collection basket.

CHILDREN’S ROSARY PRAYER GROUP: Will meet on Saturday December 2nd at 10am in church. All are welcome.

CHRISTMAS COFFEE MORNING: Next Saturday, December 2nd, from 10am to 12 noon there will be a

Christmas Coffee Morning in the Parish Hall for Church funds so please support this. There will be a cake sale and raffle. If you can donate a cake or cakes and a prize or prizes for the raffle that will be much appreciated. Please ensure that you bring cakes before 10am on the day. Thank you.

ADVENT RETREAT: Fr John Udris and Avril Baigent are delighted to be offering an online Advent retreat again this year. The theme is “Let the Wilderness Bloom! An Advent journey with John the Baptist”: it is available online on Mondays from November 27th at 7:30pm and can be found at: https://pastoralministryoffice.org/bloom/. These webinars will be live on Monday evenings or can be watched at any time afterwards. They will also be available as a podcast series.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS: The rota has now been distributed by email. If you have not received it and would like to be included on the rota, please contact Mike on 01933 631531 or email janandmikegibbo@gmail.com.

Likewise if you are a Eucharistic Minister and have not contacted Mike as previously requested please do so ASAP.

LOVE CHRISTMAS: We are supporting the Love Christmas campaign again this year. There are bags for you to take as you go from Mass, please take one and fill it, or fill your own; please no second hand gifts. In providing simple Christmas Gifts in ‘Bags of Kindness’ to children, families, and the elderly living in poverty or alone, as well as young carers and children from broken homes or in care this Christmas, we will be putting a smile on the faces of those in need as we did last year. All donations will go to those in need locally.

FOODBANK DONATIONS: There is a comprehensive list of requested items at the back of Church (including tinned foods & household goods). Please keep the donations coming, as stocks are running low and demand is increasing more and more. Thanks to everyone for all the donations, both of goods and money!

FRIENDS OF THE HOLY LAND: Present a wonderful Christmas concert featuring the well-known London Welsh Male Voice Choir with renowned soloists Margaret Keys and Anthony Stuart Lloyd and compere Mal Pope.  The aim is to raise funds for the challenges in the Holy Land which have become much greater in recent weeks, not only in Gaza but across Israel and the West Bank.
