ASSEMBLY INSIGHT – WEEK 7:

We are grateful to all the priests and deacons involved in the Assembly and to all the clergy for their support of this process.  We pray that God will bless their ministry with fruitfulness: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”

Ephesians 2:10

Prayer of the Faithful:

We pray for priests and deacons of our diocese, that they may preach the Gospel with courage and gentleness and draw strength from our Assembly process.

POPE’S PRAYER INTENTION: For the abolition of torture: We pray that the international community commits itself to the abolition of torture and guarantees support to victims and their families.

Seeing your Life through the Lens of the Gospel

  1. The reading evokes contrasting images of God, a God who judges and a God who saves. We might reflect on how our image of God has changed with the years. What has helped you to believe in a God whose will is that you should have eternal life?

  1. The eternal life promised, is life that begins now, and survives all forms of death, failure, defeat and humiliation. What has helped you to have that sense of being alive, even in painful and disappointing circumstances?

ADORATION: Tuesday from 10:15am to 6pm.
