UKRAINE APPEAL: The money raised last weekend for the Ukrainian refugees amounted to £900 which has been given to CAFOD. Thank you to all who contributed to raising this amazing amount.

 

RED BOX APPEAL: This weekend we welcome Fr Gerry Hastie MHM to give the 5-year Appeal. There will not be a second collection, but if you do not currently have a Red Box, please consider taking one. Find out more at https://missio.org.uk/donate/.

 

STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Will take place at 7pm on Fridays during Lent.

 

CONFIRMATION 2022: Bishop David will be coming to St Peter’s to administer the sacrament on Friday evening, November 18th.

With the lifting of all legally required Coronavirus restrictions by the government, Fr Joe and Deacon Peter ask that you continue to wear face coverings when coming to Mass and in all our church buildings please, unless for medical reasons you are unable to do so. The measures that are now in place within the church will remain in place for now, so please continue to act carefully and exercise personal judgement to manage your own risk and be sensitive to the concerns of others.

THINGS RESTORED: The Procession of Gifts will form part of the Mass at the Offertory.

At the entrance to the church, the Holy Water vessels will be in use again.

INTERNATIONAL SURVEY OF CATHOLIC WOMEN:  An online survey to gather feedback from Catholic women from across the world for Synod 2021-2023 is available to provide data for a submission to the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops which is themed For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation and Mission. The survey is open until April 26th and is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Polish.

 

HEALING GARDEN: As part of our diocese desire to reach out to all those who have suffered any kind of abuse within our Church, you are all invited to join Bishop David at the opening of our Healing Garden at Northampton Cathedral at 3pm on Sunday May 15th. We hope that the garden will be a place that provides spiritual and emotional calming relief, reduce stress and anxiety and improve a person’s sense of well-being and hopefulness. The garden has been designed and created by our diocesan safeguarding team, the healing and reconciliation group and the Hope Centre.
