SECOND COLLECTION: Today is for Sea Sunday, which this year has been moved from its normal Sunday in July. It is when the Church prays for all those who live and work at sea. Without them we would not have most of the items we buy in the shops. Today’s second collection is for Stella Maris (Apostleship of the Sea), the Catholic Church’s official maritime welfare agency. For more information see www.stellamaris.org.uk/SeaSunday.
PARISH MASSES ON FACEBOOK: It is planned to live stream four Masses over Christmas:
Christmas Eve: 6:30pm
Christmas Day: 10:00am
Sunday Vigil: 6:30pm
Sunday: 10:00am
PARISH LIVE STREAM: The quality of the video has now been improved. The 10am Sunday Mass will now be simultaneously streamed on YouTube as well as Facebook as before. The YouTube link to the St Peter Apostle RC Church, Rushden channel is:

A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR THE CHURCH: It would really help the Parish financial shortfall due to Covid-19, if you could consider making a Christmas Gift to the Church in addition to the amount you would normally give in the collection. We have experienced a loss of 50% in our income during the pandemic and need to try and redress this as much as possible. Thanks to all who have already supported this initiative.
OFFERTORY COLLECTION: You may be wondering how you can support the Church during this difficult time. If you wish to contribute financially, please consider making either a one-off donation or setting up a regular payment. This can be done using the following details:
