FUNERAL PRAYERS

The death occurred of Anne Waterfield two weeks ago. Our sympathy is extended to her bereaved husband Barrie, children and grandchildren. May Anne rest in peace.

The death occurred this week of Peter Fleming. Our sympathy is extended to his bereaved wife, Angela and children. May Peter rest in peace.

OPENING FOR PRIVATE PRAYER

This week there will be an opportunity to have a time of prayer in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament on Tuesday and Friday from 10am to 12 noon in the Parish Hall.

VOLUNTEERS

At least two stewards must be present throughout the time open for prayer.

NO STEWARDS NO MEETING FOR PRAYER

If you could please let Deacon Peter know that you would like to give some time to stewarding; as a volunteer for this duty; you must have no health issues, you are known to parishioners and you are under seventy years of age.

Thank you.

THANKS to Tony, Gemma and Roy for giving of their time and expertise, in making the space for private prayer safe, with the necessary individual distancing in seating and floor markings.

Face Coverings Government has advised that cloth face coverings (and not surgical masks) could be worn for reassurance by people in enclosed areas but are not strictly necessary. Churches do not need to supply face coverings. People should not see their voluntary use disrespectful to prayer or the sacred space.
