THE GOD WHO SPEAKS: THE YEAR OF THE WORD: There are a number of posters around church illustrating this initiative which focuses on celebrating, living and sharing God’s word.

THE TIME TOGETHER GROUP: Meets next Saturday March 14th, when we will have a visit from Singing for Fun.  All are welcome to join us in the Parish Hall from 2:30pm until 4pm.

HELP IS URGENTLY REQUIRED: With Sunday Coffee Morning after 10am Mass. If you feel you can help occasionally, please contact Jayne and/or Stuart Pearce. Thanks.

LENTEN LUNCHES: Every Wednesday during Lent lunches will be served in St Mary’s hall, 12noon -1pm. Our turn is this Wednesday, March 11th. All donations are for Christian Aid. There’s a short service afterwards in St Mary’s Church for anyone who wishes to take part.

BISHOP PETER LEAVING: Bishop Peter leaves this Tuesday and as he leaves Northampton we pray that God will bless him in his retirement. On this Friday, Canon David Oakley moves into Bishop’s House and his Episcopal Ordination takes place on March 19th at the Cathedral. Regrettably, those wishing to attend his ordination will be unable to do so due to the capacity restrictions of the Cathedral which seats 700 people, however the liturgy on the day will be available via live streaming.

DON’T FORGET THE KEYS! The deadline for entries for the new cover competition is Sunday March 15th. Hopefully the new cover should be in place for the Easter edition. Send entries to edthekeys@outlook.com please.

THE KEYS – ADVERTISING. The Keys is paid for entirely by advertising and to date has not cost the Parish a penny. We are currently in credit, however we do need more advertisers to make it viable going forward. So if you, or anyone you know run or are involved in any sort of business please give a thought to advertising in your Parish Magazine. Our rates are very reasonable and can be found in the current edition of The Keys, or contact the editor at edthekeys@outlook.com for more information.

THE KEYS – DEADLINE The deadline for the Easter issue is Tuesday March 24th. Contributions or letters to the editor or any other communication should be sent to edthekeys@outlook.com or placed in the box marked “The Keys” at the back of the Church.

VOCATIONS DAY: The Diocese of Northampton is running a Vocations Day for men who may be thinking about the possibility of priesthood. This will take place at Holy Family Church, Luton, LU3 3TA, on Saturday March 21st from 10am to 4pm. Please contact Fr Andy at vocationsdirector@northamptondiocese.org if you would like to attend.
