YOUR PRAYERS: Are requested for the repose of the soul of Gaetano Mastrangelo whose funeral takes place here on Monday and also for the repose of the soul of Tom Belso whose funeral takes place at Kettering Crematorium on Tuesday at 12 noon.

THE TIME TOGETHER GROUP: Meets next Saturday at 2:30pm in the Parish Hall, when John Holdom-Eyles will tell us the story behind the redevelopment of Birmingham’s New Street Station. All are welcome.

  1. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY: At next weekend’s Masses, there will be an appeal (not financial!) on behalf of the St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVP).

PARISH HOLY HOUR: Our first Holy Hour of 2020 is on Thursday February 6th at 7:30pm. Our theme will be “Who Is My Neighbour?”. Do join us for Adoration, prayer and song as we learn from our faith who our neighbour is and how we can serve them as Jesus asked. We really hope to see you there; why not invite a friend?

UNION OF CATHOLIC MOTHERS: Post-Christmas Lunch will be on Wednesday February 5th at Seasons Garden Centre, Burton Latimer. Lifts to be arranged.

MARY’S JOURNEY IN FAITH: On Thursday March 5th from 12:30 – 2:30pm in the Church Hall we begin a 10 week input called “A biblical walk with Mary”. This input on DVD will show us “Mary’s journey in Faith” and many of the places in the Holy Land where Mary lived and visited. This will help us to have a deeper understanding and a closer relationship with our Holy mother in Heaven. There is no cost unless you choose to purchase the accompanying book. All are welcome.

LUX YOUTH GATHERING: Is taking place over this weekend in Northampton with young people and leaders from this parish joining in with other groups from parishes around the diocese. I know that all concerned would appreciate the support of your prayers.

THE ANGELUS PRAYED AFTER DAILY MASS: On March 29th, England will be rededicated as the ‘Dowry of Mary’. This will happen in Westminster Cathedral, in Walsingham, in every Catholic Cathedral, in every parish and in as many homes as possible. In recognition of this we will pray the Angelus after the daily Masses so that our hearts may be spiritually prepared for the rededication.
