OUR SYMPATHY: Is extended to the bereaved family of Maria Stoker whose funeral takes place at Kettering Crematorium at 3pm this Wednesday, September 25th.  May she rest in peace.

THE KEYS – WANTED: Volunteers to fold and staple the magazine on Friday, September 27th at 10am in the Sacristy.

HOLY HOUR @ ST PETER’S: Our first guided Holy Hour @ St Peter’s was really well attended with those who came finding it a very valuable devotion. Our second Holy Hour will take place on Thursday, October 3rd at 7:30pm. As October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary, we will meditate on this and Our Lady’s Adoration of the Lord. Do come and join us, we’d love to see you!

WALSINGHAM ANNUAL PILGRIMAGE: The Walsingham Annual Pilgrimage for the Sanctity of Life is on Sunday, October 6th, led by Bishop Mark O’Toole. All are warmly invited to unite in this day of prayer. For further details see poster or pick up a flyer from the back of church.

MEN’S GROUP: Quiet Day in Turvey is on Saturday, October 12th.  If you are interested in attending, please contact Deacon Peter.

MURDER MYSTERY – MURDER AT THE THEATRE:  Saturday, October 12th. Entry by programme, now on sale price £5. Proceeds to the Tanzania Kiosk fund.

A BIG THANK YOU to Maureen Williamson, who has stood down as President of our SVP Conference.  Her leadership both locally and at District level will be greatly missed.  Richard Massey has succeeded her.

NYMO CO-ORDINATOR FOR YOUTH MINISTRY VISIT: On Wednesday, October 16th at 7pm Jay Caracciolo will be visiting us to assist us in Youth Ministry in our parish.  If interested in attending please let the office know.

LIVING FAITH: Daily scripture reflection magazine for October to December 2019 now in Church, priced 80p.

EAST NORTHANTS COMMUNITY LEADERS’ LUNCH: Will be taking place on Wednesday, October 2nd at 11:30am for 12 noon at the Frontier Centre off Addington Road, Irthlingborough, NN9 5UF. As well as a buffet lunch and networking opportunities, Julia Smith from East Northants Council will be giving a brief update on the plans for local government reorganization and talking about pressures facing local government, and the Council’s Health & Wellbeing policy; Ed Walker from Hope into Action will be talking about opportunities for churches to provide houses for homeless people, and an update will also be given by Jo Burns of East Northants Community Services.
