ORDINATIONS: Eric Kerr was ordained to the permanent diaconate a week ago at St Joseph’s Church, Luton where he will minister.

David Donaghue was ordained to the priesthood on Saturday, July 20th at the Cathedral for the Diocese of Northampton.

 

NATIONAL MASS FOR ALTAR SERVERS: This year will take place on Saturday September 21st at 2pm in Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King, Mount Pleasant, Liverpool, L3 5TQ. See poster on noticeboard. All servers, family and friends welcome.

 

ENROLMENT OF ALTAR SERVERS: Will take place during the 10am Mass today.

OLD SPECTACLES – LIONS INTERNATIONAL: Do you have any unwanted glasses and cases? If you do, please bring them in and put them into the box at the back of church. Thank you.

 

REPAIR WORK: Work on the Presbytery driveway begins this Monday morning.

 

CAR PARKING: We have been made aware of the increased pressure on parking spaces in the Home Bargains car park on a Sunday morning and they have advised us that they will be installing a Parking Eye parking management system. Whilst they are still happy to allow us to park there, please keep your stay as short as possible or we might lose this privilege.

 

DEFIBRILLATOR: Heart restarter for an unconscious person who is NOT breathing normally is now available in the Sacristy.

 

SILENCE IN CHURCH: In order to maintain an atmosphere for prayer before Mass, it is important to remember that the church is the House of God – the place where we speak to Him and listen to Him.

 

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: Sunday: 1:30pm to 7pm; Monday: None; Tuesday: 10am to 7pm; Wednesday: 10am to 6:30pm; Thursday: 11am to 7pm; Friday: 10am to 6:30pm; Saturday: None.
