Face Coverings
Face coverings will be mandatory in Places of Worship from Saturday 8th August 2020. All those who are attending churches must wear a face covering unless they are exempt from doing so. This is for the good of all who gather in the Church for Mass as it is an enclosed public space where there are people from differing households who they do not normally meet. Priests in the sanctuary providing they are sufficiently distant (2m or more) from the congregation do not need to wear a face covering except when distributing Holy Communion Other ministers in the sanctuary should wear face coverings and remain socially distant from the celebrant.
Booking to Attend Mass
Please either phone, text or email Deacon Peter each week no later than each Friday evening to book your place at the Saturday Vigil Mass or the Sunday morning Parish Mass. Deacon Peter’s email address is: peter.remmington3@gmail.co his mobile number is: 07733336296. Thank you.
OUR SYMPATHY IS EXTENDED: To the bereaved family of Deceased Jose Colcol Estepa (Jr), who died 7th August, and whose Funeral Mass takes place in church Tuesday, 25th August at 11:00am. May Jose rest in peace.

Also, it is not necessary to return all the back numbered envelopes, just start with the current weekend and you can include any previous week’s donations in that envelope.
Diocese of Northampton – Liturgy Commission – August 2020
All are to receive Communion in the hand during this current crisis.
This is to reduce the possibility of any transmission of the virus. It is a way of receiving Communion that has ancient tradition.
This text of St Cyril of Jerusalem may help people understand the significance of this.
“When you approach, do not extend your hands with palms upward and fingers apart, but make your left hand a throne for your right hand, since the latter is to receive the King.”
