TIME TOGETHER GROUP: Meets next Saturday (October 12th) at 2:30pm in the Parish Hall, when Valerie Brierley will tell us about The Vagabond of God – the life and times of John Bradburne, who spent many years working with lepers in Zimbabwe. All are welcome.

 

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2020: We are currently gathering the names of the children who would like to enter the Sunday school programme to prepare for their first Holy Communion in Spring 2020. The programme is aimed at children from school year 3 onwards. Please enter name and contact details on the sheet at the back of the church or alternatively contact the church office.

 

UNION OF CATHOLIC MOTHERS: On Monday October 21st at 7:30pm, Jayne Murray from Wilson Brown solicitors of Higham Ferrers will give a talk on ‘Wills and the Lasting Power of Attorney’. This will be an open meeting and all members of the parish are welcome.

 

MASS FOR VICTIMS & SURVIVORS OF ABUSE: Also their families and supporters will be held at St Mary’s in Woburn Sands at 12 noon on October 12th. All victims, survivors of abuse, their families & supporters are invited to this Mass. There will be light refreshments after the Mass

 

A NEW SAINT: Next Sunday, October 13th, the canonisation of Blessed John Henry Newman will take place. Information surrounding the event can be followed on the Diocesan social media.

 

MEN’S GROUP: Quiet Day in Turvey is next Saturday, October 12th.  If you are interested in attending, please contact Deacon Peter.

 

DAY OF REFLECTION.  A day of reflection, inspiration, and prayer for all in ministry to the sick, whether in homes, hospitals or care homes. We encourage Eucharistic Ministers, members of the St Vincent de Paul Society and parishioners who have an interest or involvement in this ministry to join with us. This event is offered by the Pastoral Ministry Office in partnership with the St Vincent de Paul Society and will be held at Christ the King Church, Milton Keynes on November 9th, 10am – 3pm.
