CAFOD FAMILY FAST DAY: Please donate to our Family Fast Day parish collection and be a pilgrim of hope with CAFOD this Jubilee Year. You’ll be supporting communities suffering the impacts of war, poverty and climate change to find solutions and hope. Use the QR code, CAFOD envelope in church, call us on 0303 303 3030 or donate online at https://cafod.org.uk/fundraise/parishes/virtual-envelope. You can also text CAFODLENT to 70085 to donate £10. You can also look at our Lent prayer video at https://youtu.be/BRhixfRAQEs. Due to the recently announced cuts to spending on overseas aid by the US and European governments, this has never been more vital.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS: You should by now have received the next rota. If you have not, please let Mike know.

TOGETHER IN PRAYER: Is at 7pm today, Sunday March 9th at Park Road Baptist Church. See poster.

JANET GIBBONS MEMORIAL QUIZ NIGHT: At the time of Janet’s funeral we raised over £700 for The British Lung Foundation. We, the family, would like to push this up to £1000, with your help. We thought a quiz night would be a fun way to do this, so please come and join us on Saturday March 29th 7:45pm in the Parish Hall. Bring a team or come on your own and we will find you one! Prizes to be won! Tea coffee and possibly cakes! Also a raffle!

PRE-VISITATION MEETING: Bishop David will be visiting all the parishes in our pastoral area and in preparation for these visits there is an open meeting with him in Corby. You are all warmly invited to attend this meeting with Bishop David on Tuesday March 18th at 7pm at St Brendan’s and St Patrick’s Church, 151 Beanfield Avenue, Corby, Northants, NN18 0AZ.

FOODBANK DONATIONS: There is a comprehensive list of requested items at the back of Church (including tinned foods & household goods). Please keep the donations coming, as stocks are running low and demand is increasing more and more. Thanks to everyone for all the donations, both of goods and money!

GIFT AID ENVELOPES: For the next financial year will be available soon. Please let the Parish Office know if you no longer wish to donate this way so that we do not over order envelopes. New donors are always welcome.

DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO WALSINGHAM: This year our diocesan pilgrimage to Walsingham takes place on Saturday June 14th. The pilgrimage will begin with Mass at the Basilica in the Catholic Shrine at midday followed by lunch and at 3pm pilgrims process from the Shrine, on the holy mile to the Abbey Grounds for the final service. Parish groups are welcome to attend and encouraged to bring parish banners with them for the procession.

VACANCY: The Church has a vacancy for a handyman/woman to help with the maintenance of the Church and Presbytery utilities plus Health & Safety. Please contact the Parish Office if you can help. Training will be available.

THE POPE’S INTENTION FOR MARCH: Let us pray that, through forgiveness, broken families may find healing for their wounds, and rediscover each other’s gifts, despite their differences.
