CHILDREN’S LITURGY: Is available to all children age 5-9 years old at the 10am Mass. We invite the children to come out to the hall/lounge after the entrance hymn and we return them at the Offertory.

 

YOUR SYMPATHY: Is requested for the family and friends of Barry Maher who died last recently and whose funeral service will be held here at 11am on Wednesday August 14th followed by burial at Finedon Cemetary.

Please keep the donations coming, as stocks are running low and demand is increasing more and more. Thanks to everyone for all the donations, both of goods and money!

PILGRIMAGE TO WALSINGHAM: In Reparation and Prayer for the Sanctity of Life led by the Bishop takes place on Saturday August 3rd commencing at the 12 noon Pilgrim Mass in the Chapel of Reconciliation. DIOCESAN MASS FOR MARRIAGE: The annual Mass for Marriage and Family Life will be celebrated by Bishop David on September 7th at Northampton Cathedral.   Gathering will be from 11:30am followed by Mass at 12noon. Bishop David will give his pastoral blessing to those couples celebrating significant milestones in their marriage i.e. 1, 10, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60 years etc. If this is a special anniversary year for you please contact Sam Canning (MFL Co-ordinator) via email by August 25th at: mfl@northamptondiocese.org. Everyone is very welcome to attend and there will be refreshments after Mass in the Cathedral Centre.

 

STREET PASTORS: St Mary’s Church, Rushden, Street Pastor co-ordinator, David McGrath, has a meeting arranged for 7:30pm on Tuesday July 30th for volunteers at Rushden Mission Church. If you would like to volunteer please contact him at davidmcgrath54@hotmail.co.uk

YOUTH WORKER VACANCY: The Diocese is currently recruiting for a Youth Worker to join the Youth Ministry Office. The role will be for 35 hours per week and will include evening and weekend work. At the heart of this story we are told that Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks and distributed them. In our day this reminds us of the Eucharist, the bread of life, with which Jesus feeds us.
